What's in my bag

I've seen a few bloggers and YouTubers do this and I thought I'd give it ago! I'm one of those people who carries a bag full of rubbish because they're too lazy to empty it. But I emptied it of the majority of rubbish, like wrappers and things and kept the best bits in there; it's a great excuse to empty your bag this post!

I'm not one of those people who really buys a new bag for each outfit so I either have my college bag with me or this one, they are pretty similar but obviously have slightly differnt things in. This bag is my absolute favourite, I've had it for years, its from New Look and if I remeber correctly I payed about £20 for it! I love it; it's got pockets and is a brilliant size(it holds alot more stuff than it looks like it could...like a Mary Poppins bag!)

I always have my umbrella in my bag, whcich was about £5 from Tesco or somewhere like that, especially since I live in England. With the recent sunny weather I've also been carrying a pair of primark sunglasses and some sun-cream. I usually leave my headphones in my bag, and of course no bag is complete without a stray pencil and set of cinema tickets.

I'm quite practical so I always have a stash of baby wipes in my bag somewhere, these are quite cheap ones which come in a pack of about 5, they're brilliant for travelling. My keys are always in my bag to; and my key rings are possibly one of favourite things I own. My Harry Judd key ring was a Christmas present from a close friend, the scouby thing was made by a close friend too and then the pink Eifel tower was a classic tourist gift to myself when in Paris earlier this year. The piece of paper is my results slip from AS year at sixth form; I took these pictures just after results and enrollment at college.

The last few items in my bag are just general items and some make up things. I carry my purse with me, which is from Primark a few months ago. A compact mirror which was a present from a close friend is always in my bag. If I'm going out for the whole day I'll always put my clinique stay matte powder(my favourite and currently most used), Maybelline New York Falsies Volum' express mascara and The Body Shop Born Lippy lip balm in my bag as a just in case security net. I carry Nivea beautiful underarms, roll on deodorant with me too(I think that's what its called; I only noticed that its facing the wrong way whilst I was writing this post!). With the recent hot weather, my constant headaches and with being prone to dehydration I also carry a bottle of water with me to!

And that's my bag! I hope you enjoyed, thanks for reading!

Birthday Celebrations 2

Hii, I thought I'd try something a bit different and do a sort of  'get ready with me' post. I wasn't particularly dressed up for the occasion but I thought hey, you've got to start somewhere!

It was one of my closest friends birthday and our group of friends were celebrating with a meal and a few drinks at her house. It wasn't particularly dressy but it was a heels occasion, and they're always the best!

I don't get ready all in one go, so it was spread through out the day. But I started with a bath, which included Lush Fun bubble bar type thing and Lush Snow fairy. I used John Frieda's Luxurious Volume shampoo and conditioner on my hair.

Once I'd gotten out of the bath and then my shower(I'm very good at conserving water) I towel dried my hair and used John Frieda's Luxurious Volume mouse.

I was also blessed with very sensitive skin so I have to be extra careful with anything I use on my skin. My newest favorite  moisturizer is currently Soap and Glory and luckily I can use it without my face blowing up to look like a tomato.  It smells soooo nice and is really moisturizing but I do find it a bit greasy.

To dry my hair I use a Tresemme hair dryer and to style I use GHD straighteners. I don't tend to use heat protection spray because I don't like how it makes my hair feel and how it burns on the straightening plates. I know I should but I haven't found a decent one to use. I straightened my hair, which is how I normally wear it, with my sweeping fringe across the right to the left.

For my eyes I use Maybelline New York, The colossal Volum' Express mascara, its my regular favourite and reasonably priced to! I love the volume it gives and the fullness it gives my lashes. The brush is brilliant to use to!

Obviously I'm forcing my eyes open to be that wide, but I quite like how the
mascara makes my eyes look
I don't often wear face make up other than on my eyes, but seeing as it was a bit of a special occasion I used blusher and eye shadow, which was a massive change for me!

I got this Technic blusher in a set with different colours and eye shadows. I don't know its name or anything but I like the way it sits on the skin and how it looks natural yet still enhances. I cant often tell the difference when I wear make up, but I wore it on my cheek bones and just slightly next to my eyes slightly lighter than on my cheeks.  I then put a silvery and grey coloured eye shadow on to just add a bit of colour and dimension.

Oh yeah, well done Hannah, Very in focus
As I said before I don't get ready in one go so I then went back to my hair. I made sure it was straight and added hair spray. I then thought I'd clip the fronts back with little bobby pins.  I then got dressed and ready;
Sorry for the dirty mirror
I wore a cream/slightly off white t shirt from River Island, which is open on the back apart from little bows, which £15 in the sale. I wore it with dark blue jeans, from F&F at Tesco(comfy and reasonable), along with nude and black heels from New Look, £11 in the sale! I'm a massive sucker for a nice pair of heels! My little clutch bag was given to me as a present for my 17th birthday by a close friend and I LOVE it!

Sorry for such a word heavy post but I wanted to blog about my little routine! I might do some more of these; I'm quite enjoying writing and posting lifestyle and beauty posts.

The birthday girl and myself, clearly enjoying a good night
Hope everyone had a lovely June and has a lovely July!

McFly concert

Hello.

Soooo, this post is a bit late considering its been over a month(nearly two months now) since the actual concert. ooops! But I just felt like I needed to give this post a bit of time and care to do the gig justice.

McFly have ALWAYS and will always be my favourite band. I love everything about them; their determinism, their music, their passion, their love for their fans and obviously their looks and personalities just wrap the whole package up. One of the things I love the most about them though is their live performances. Ive seen them 3 times before so I knew how amazing they'd be and how indescribable the atmosphere would be, but this time was completely different and I was majorly blown away.

I headed to Manchester on Friday 3rd May with some of my best friends.
After the rush to the train station and then the boarding the train we were off. But once we got to Preston we had to change trains and start all over again. Once we arrived in Manchester we headed for our hotel, checked in and grabbed some down time. We then headed down to Manchester Apollo in the evening to see if we could need the band after the concert. We got pretty close, but they unfortunately didn't stop, which we all appreciated because their was a lot of us.
Unfortunately my best picture from them leaving; Harry Judd

The next day was our turn to experience the concert; The Memory Lane Tour, Manchester Apollo 4th May, 2013. Never had I ever been so excited for a concert! We started queuing at around ten in the morning, ready for the afternoon. Some of our group were still travelling up from Blackpool.
Me and Soph just as it started raining
Lauren and Me getting excited
Que number
My favourite people; minus 3 from out group of 10 and our queue antics

Once we were inside the building, which wasn't until around half 6/7 we ended up 2nd and 3rd row from the front, at the middle of the stage. Honestly the best view I've ever had at a standing concert. It was pretty warm but we were all prepared for that. The atmosphere was amazing, no other concerts had even compared.

Obviously the atmosphere was even more unbelievable once the concert started. James Bourne and The Vamps were support acts, along with Mr Antastic and all were wonderful! Especially James Bourne, bringing back childhood memories off Busted!
James Bourne is wonderful

McFly were immense and we jumped and sang for the whole concert. It was rather hot but it didn't really seem to matter. As cheesy as it sounds the atmosphere was electric! Here's some of my pictures from the concert, not are zoomed or edited, I think they speak for themselves and how amazing it was really(They are mainly of Danny though);
Danny getting us all to sing to him
Such a crowd pleaser
One of the best bromances in the world.
Danny is so sassy
Smileeeee
Tom the guitar God
I can honestly say I have never been to a concert as AMAZING in my life and McFly never fail to put on an amazing performance. The whole thing was made 10000x better because I got to share it with all my best friends and because we were so close so eye contact with Danny and Dougie was possible! (Especially with Danny in One For The Radio as we all sang and pointed to him). Best night of my life!

Sorry for such a lengthy post but I wanted to share the evening with you all.
Thanks for reading :-)

My day- 20/04/2013

HOWDY

Today was boring but still a good day!

Work was so quiet that there was literally NOTHING to do and I didn't even have a party to host so that was a bit rubbish! But not to worry I've got a 6 hour shift and a party to host tomorrow!

But the sun was out so when I finished work, so I got to spend some time with my mum and the dog in the garden chatting and gossipping(to my mum not the dog...)! Honestly love my mum to bits! She's also booked a weekend in Cornwall for me, her and my dad in July which should be brilllll! Ive never been to Cornwall so I'm extra excited about that!

I then decided that seen as id been promising my Friends Easter nest cakes(which they've never had, oh my god) since well before Easter I should probably make them! So that's how I spent my afternoon! If I'm quite honest I'm rather proud of them(I know they're the easiest things ever to make but I don't care)! and if you've never made/had Easter nests, WHAT WAS YOUR CHILDHOOD?!

Feel very nostalgic, I always used to make these every year as a child with my dad!

I've also eaten a ridiculous amount of food today and drank a ridiculous amount of Mountain Dew, so safe to say I feel rather sick this evening. Well done Hannah.

We're now in the 2 week countdown till McFly! EEEEK, so very excited!

Time for me to stop writing, chill out and watch YouTube videos because that's how rock and roll my Saturday nights get!

Afternoon

HEY

So from Monday its back to the daily chore that is Sixth form, yipee. But with the added work of a million tonnes of revision ready for exams, double yipee. So on that front I'm realllllly not looking forward to the next few months!
So this is how the rest of my April looks, Fun Fun Fun.

PLUS, when I go back to college on Monday I'm going to start back to my healthy eating/diet/get fit for summer routine, which should be fun... (I'll probably blog about that because, well lets face it there's nothing else in my life to blog about)

But for now I've got the weekend to rest up and get ready for it all to start! which is hard to do completely considering I'm at work.

Speaking of work; My work colleagues usually call me Hannah or Han but one of my closest friends, who I also happen to work with, has let everyone else in on that little secret of my nickname Ham, so now I'm also known as Ham at work...which is always good. Including my new till sign in name being Ham!

Hannah, no one cares.
Yep, bye :-)

P.s. I feel a massive idiot writing random shit about my life because I doubt anyone even cares, but I want to blog about things that happen as a reminder and to just be able to get things out of my head. okay. Plus I'm sick of always talking to myself about things.
