An outfit I'm loving

I just thought I'd share my current favourite outfit with you all!

Basically its a cute little chiffon type material floral dress which is elasticated around the waist with an over sized baby pink cardigan.
Both are from primark, the dress was £10 and the cardigan was £13 I think. Either way I love them and they suite being put together in one outfit.

I'm still wearing dresses with wooly tights because I'm not brave enough to leave the house with thinner ones on yet. Wimp I know.

The sleeves are short aswell, which means I'll be able to wear this into the summer months aswell!

 A full length look at the outfit! No shoes you might notice though. I just wear plain black ballet pumps or little brown studded ballet pumps from New look.

My make-up was pretty minimal; N07 mascara, collection concealer, Clinique Matte invisible powder and mememe shimmer stack blusher. (Twp of these I spoke about in my last favourites post current favourites post and powder I last spoke about here; travel make-up bag I'm yet to speak about the blush, that'll be soon I'm sure! Look at me linking everything.)

Current favorites

It's been a while since I've shared my favourite items with you all! This time I've got quite a few favourites, well the last few months I've had a bit of money saved to treat myself with more than I normally do, lucky me!

The Mortal Instruments, City of Bones DVD. During summer last year a close friend recommended reading The Mortal Instruments series, by Cassandra Clare(in fairness I'm still reading it...) which I absolutely fell IN LOVE with. They're absolutely amazing, so I recommended reading those! I was then told that they were making the first book of the series into a film, which was possibly the greatest thing I'd ever heard. The film is amazing, although its not a completely accurate translation of book to film it's still amazingly close! Since pre-ordering the film and it arriving I've probably watched it at least 3 times a week...obsessive I know but it's SO good.

The manual of mess and mistakes, Keri Smith. The 'mess' journal is part of the Wreck this Journal family. This was a gift for my 18th birthday. I've only recently started using it properly and I'm loving using it. In the same way as the wreck this journal it gives instructions on each page, but this one is aimed more at just making a mess and not worrying about the outcome. It's just really fun, especially after a crappy day!

Animal crossing for 3DS and 3DS. As childish as it sounds I've re-fallen in love with the Nintendo DS and Animal Crossing. Ever since the new animal crossing came out I've been dying to buy it, but of course life and its necessity for money got in the way, which meant I've had to wait. I also had to buy a whole new console as I had the Nintendo DSI which the game doesn't play on (Nice game plan Nintendo, really considerate), it was quite a bit of money I needed spair. But honestly the wait has been worth it. I've not put it down for the past month or so whenever I get the chance. Defiantly worth buying/playing, even if it did cost around £125 for the console and game!

Make-up and beauty wise I've been loving quite a few things recently.

No7, lash adapt mascara. This was given to me by my mum just after Christmas and I've fallen in love with it. It makes my eyelashes super long and volumised. Its wand is a perfect texture which means there's less clumps, which is always a winner.

 Collection, Lasting perfection, ultimate wear concealer, in Medium number 3. I've never been much of a liquid make up wearer, but just recently I've began to look like the walking dead all the time as I'm always tired. So I thought hey why not try some concealer. This is the only one, in fairness I've given a full try, others I try for a day and decide I don't like them. But this one is pretty good, it was around £4.50 I think, which is pretty reasonable and I think it was a pretty good purchase really, its got a long lasting coverage and matches to skin colour quite well. So I'm quite happy with it, well I must be considering I've had it on everyday for nearly 2 weeks now(I don't normally stick to make-up that well.)

Ted baker body spray. This was part of a gift set which I received as a present for Christmas. It smells absolutely gorgeous. It's hard to describe but is really sophisticated and grown up...if that makes sense. It's nice for both during the day and for formal occasions. The only problem is now it's nearly empty and I can't find it any shops or even online :-(!

 Benefit's world famous neutrals eye shadow palette. This was a bit of an impulse buy for me. When I was out shopping just after Christmas I came across the palette and loved the colours, I've always heard such good things about Benefit products but had never tried them. The palette was £23.50 and honestly it was a well spent £23.50 I think. All the colours are neutral(obviously...) but they're subtle enough to wear everyday and even to dress up for nights out. I've really fallen in love with one of the crease less cream shadows called R.S.V.P. It's so natural, stays in place all day and sits well with pretty much any outfit. I love it!

McFly concert

Hello.

Soooo, this post is a bit late considering its been over a month(nearly two months now) since the actual concert. ooops! But I just felt like I needed to give this post a bit of time and care to do the gig justice.

McFly have ALWAYS and will always be my favourite band. I love everything about them; their determinism, their music, their passion, their love for their fans and obviously their looks and personalities just wrap the whole package up. One of the things I love the most about them though is their live performances. Ive seen them 3 times before so I knew how amazing they'd be and how indescribable the atmosphere would be, but this time was completely different and I was majorly blown away.

I headed to Manchester on Friday 3rd May with some of my best friends.
After the rush to the train station and then the boarding the train we were off. But once we got to Preston we had to change trains and start all over again. Once we arrived in Manchester we headed for our hotel, checked in and grabbed some down time. We then headed down to Manchester Apollo in the evening to see if we could need the band after the concert. We got pretty close, but they unfortunately didn't stop, which we all appreciated because their was a lot of us.

The next day was our turn to experience the concert; The Memory Lane Tour, Manchester Apollo 4th May, 2013. Never had I ever been so excited for a concert! We started queuing at around ten in the morning, ready for the afternoon. Some of our group were still travelling up from Blackpool.

Once we were inside the building, which wasn't until around half 6/7 we ended up 2nd and 3rd row from the front, at the middle of the stage. Honestly the best view I've ever had at a standing concert. It was pretty warm but we were all prepared for that. The atmosphere was amazing, no other concerts had even compared. 

Obviously the atmosphere was even more unbelievable once the concert started. James Bourne and The Vamps were support acts, along with Mr Antastic and all were wonderful! Especially James Bourne, bringing back childhood memories off Busted!

McFly were immense and we jumped and sang for the whole concert. It was rather hot but it didn't really seem to matter. As cheesy as it sounds the atmosphere was electric! I can honestly say I have never been to a concert as AMAZING in my life and McFly never fail to put on an amazing performance. The whole thing was made 10000x better because I got to share it with all my best friends and because we were so close so eye contact with Danny and Dougie was possible! (Especially with Danny in One For The Radio as we all sang and pointed to him). Best night of my life!

HOW'RE YOU:-)?

Sooo, I'm off to see my favorite band ever in the history of everything in a few days and I'm far too excited right now! I'm going with all my faves in a massive group of 10 and I CANNOT WAIT! Its going to be such a good weekend. We're seeing them on Saturday 4th May in Manchester and staying in Manchester for the weekend(hopefully to try to meet them and so we don't miss our train home..)!

I've already seen them live 3 times and they were literally the best nights of my life! 
I first saw them on the 'Above the noise tour' at Manchester M.E.N. on the 19th March 2011. Truly one of the best nights of my life! Although we were quite far back it was still such an amazing atmosphere with everyone singing the songs all concert and shouting and screaming for the boys! 

(Bad quality, I know :-( ) The stage was amazing!

Best end to a concert ever

Honestly I thought nothing could beat that night. Not even another McFly concert but I was completely wrong with that! The following year in April 2012, I saw them for the second time in Preston at the KCAPL tour! This time we were standing and the atmosphere was AMAZING! I've never experienced anything like it! Everyone was signing  and screaming and jumping and it felt like everyone knew each other, even though we didn't. 

 Although at this concert I did learn to stand my ground when people ask if they can squeeze past you because they don't really want to 'get to their friends on the other side of you' ... they want your place. But it was honestly the best experience ever!

After that AMAZING experience I got to see the amazing boys in my home town of Blackpool on the 24th June 2012, on the Headland. Again the concert was standing and it was such a good atmosphere yet again (I put that down to the shared loved of the same people by the whole of the crowd)!

Forever a Pudd girl 

The weather was lovely and the other acts there like Lawson and The Wanted were really good to! I spent the day with my closest friends and jumped and sang our way through the whole thing! It was BRILLIANT!
So after the three truly unforgettable experiences at McFly concerts I honestly CANNOT WAIT to see them again. I cant wait to sing along and scream and fangirl and be surrounded by other Galaxy Defenders and experience the atmosphere!
